training program on Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) for Sustainable Soil Health Development was conducted at the RS–GIS Lab with the participation of 50 farmers and local youth. The program aimed to create awareness about balanced nutrient application and sustainable farming practices. Participants were introduced to the importance of combining organic, inorganic, and bio-fertilizers for improved soil fertility and long-term productivity. The training also included demonstrations on basic soil health assessment and the role of geospatial tools in supporting better field-level nutrient management. This initiative helped strengthen local capacity and promoted environmentally responsible agricultural practices.

Soil and Plant based Nutrient Management for sustainable agriculture
A training programme on “Soil and Plant Based Nutrient Management for Sustainable Agriculture” was conducted at SKUAST-K under the HADP-19 project, with the participation of 50 farmers and rural youth. The programme focused on creating awareness about the importance of soil testing and plant nutrient diagnostics for scientific fertilizer use. Participants were sensitized on balanced and need-based nutrient management practices to improve crop productivity, maintain soil health, reduce unnecessary input costs, and promote environmentally sustainable farming. The training also emphasized practical aspects of soil and plant analysis for better decision-making in crop management and long-term agricultural sustainability
