Qualifications & Experience
Essential Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks.
Desirable Experience
- Proficiency in PHP, .NET, Python with latest frameworks for backend development.
- Experience in modern front-end technologies such as React.js or Angular.
- Hands-on experience in database design and management using (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MSSQL/MongoDB).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API development and system integration.
- Prior experience in academic, research, or R&D environments.
- Working knowledge of (Windows / Linux) server administration and deployment environments.
- Familiarity with AI/ML model integration in web applications (desirable).
Essential Technical Skills
Frontend
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Bootstrap; strong focus on responsive design.
Backend
Strong proficiency in PHP with frameworks like Laravel/CodeIgniter; experience in RESTful APIs, authentication, and scalable architecture.
Database
Expertise in MySQL (primary) including design, optimization, and indexing; knowledge of PostgreSQL/MSSQL and basic MongoDB is desirable.
Cloud / DevOps
Experience with Linux/Windows servers, deployment, Docker, virtual machines, and basic cloud environments. (Mobile Dev: Android/iOS desirable).

- This is purely a temporary engagement and appearance in the interview and selection thereafter, does not entitle for any claim what-so-ever for regular or permanent employment at SKUAST-K.
- Immediate joining is required.
- The selected candidate shall be paid consolidated monthly emoluments as specified. No additional allowances such as TA, DA, medical benefits, or any other benefits shall be admissible.
- No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates appearing for interviews or selection-related processes.
- Candidates who are currently employed must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of joining.
- The selected candidate shall be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and comply with data confidentiality and information security requirements.
