Faculty of Fisheries, SKUAST-K organized a three-days training programme under HADP Project no. 26 (Technological
interventions for fish seed and trout production in J & K) on “Cost-effective feed technologies in coldwater aquaculture to
enhance fish production and to improve the livelihood of farmers”. Participants will learn how to formulate feeds that enhance growth performance while minimizing environmental impact and production costs.
This intensive hands-on training programme focuses on
empowering fish farmers, researchers, and aquaculture professionals with practical skills to develop nutritionally balanced,
cost-effective, and eco-friendly feeds for coldwater species, particularly trout.
